“We Are Worcester” is a community project that was created for the celebration of Worcester’s 300th birthday, to be part of the Worcester Tercentennial parade. For two months, several organizations, artists and community members collaborated to make one of the largest-scale sculptures the city of Worcester has ever had. In partnership with Guardians of Traditions and Creative Hub Worcester, and Dominican artist Luis Rivas, the community came together to design and execute eighteen large-scale, three-dimensional sculpture dolls that represent the diversity in Worcester.
