Opening Reception Programming
- Children Art-Making Activity (1:30-2:30 PM)
- Panel on the History of Dominican Carnival (3-4 PM): “Evolution and Influences” with speakers Alfredo Potter, Leonardo Nin, and Vanessa Joga
- Performance with Carnival Characters (4:30-5 PM)
- Opening Reception (5-6 PM): Appetizers and signature cocktails inspired by the exhibit and provided by Chef Melissa Nova
Exhibit
- Featuring 125 photos of Carnaval Dominicano and Troy B. Thompson Photography, the exhibit will be on display at JMAC from February 25th - March 10th.
